•Brush in the shower or bathtub to gather dead skin cells. (Before showering)
•Brush each area 2-3 times. Use light to medium strokes.
•The skin should never feel irritated or look red and inflamed. Stop immediately if this is the case.

•Use circular motion on ankles, knees, hips, abdomen, elbows, shoulders, and wrists.
• First-time brushers, start dry brushing 1-2 times a week and increase use based on individual skin type and condition.

•Clients should not dry brush if they have shaved that day already, been in the sun, or recently had any kind of chemical exfoliation in the area.
Bristles (only) can be briefly dipped in lukewarm water with mild antibacterial soap, avoiding the wood or spray bristles with a 70% alcohol solution. Place brush with bristle down, on to soft paper towels or a hand towel to dry or can be hung with canvas handle with bristles hanging down. Store in a dry area away from steam. Allow the brush to thoroughly air dry before next use.
